Plan at the upcoming 2024 Annual Meeting and having a Versaatility Certificate ready to unveil at the Annual Meeting as well. SPH asked when we plan to implement the Versatility Plan so we could announce it at the Annual Meeting and do a big splash in M&P soon. The Board discussed having a Versatility Certificate ready to be unveiled at the Annual Meeting as well. The Board agreed. The “aye” votes had it unanimously, and the motion carried. President Sandra Wolfskill thanked D’Arcy and Mary for their hard work developing the Dandie Versatility Plan for the Club, which is a huge accomplishment and opens new opportunities and horizons for Members to participate in events beyond conformation. • Recording Secretary Trisha L. Smith reported that she had mailed the Second Ballots to Members who were in good standing via the United States Postal Service. Members would have until the Tabulation Committee would meet on Saturday May 18 th , 2024, at 1:00 p.m. to tabulate the Ballots. President Sandra Wolfskill and the Board thanked Trisha for the yeoman’s work preparing and mailing out these Ballots. • President Sandra Wolfskill asked for a motion to move the May 2024 Board Meeting to Thursday, May 30, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. in person at 6 Flags Holiday Inn, Eureka, Missouri to be held concurrently with the Club’s Annual Board Meeting. Vice President Sandra Pretari-Hickson made the motion and Earl Hunt seconded. The “aye” votes had it unanimously, and the motion carried. • SW circulated to the Board prior to the Meeting a proposal about how the Club could address Dandies that deserve ROM presently and moving forward while the Club reconstructs its historic ROM files. Her current ROM proposal includes three levels. We will start the process of re-establishing our three levels: (1) ROM; (2) ROM Award of Distinction; and (3) ROM Top Producer. This will help to bring our Club’s ROM program back into operation. She advised that Karen Dorn had graciously agreed to assist with getting the ROM program up and running again. Sandra asked for a motion to re-implement the Club’s Register of Merit Program as proposed during the meeting. Earl Hunt made the motion and Sandra Pretari-Hickson seconded. The “aye” votes had it unanimously, and the motion carried. • President Sandra Wolfskill advised the Board that Karen and Larry Dorn had graciously donated the following awards to the Club: (1) The Grand Champion Gold Derrydown Can We Be Frank: An NOHS Award; and (2) The Derrydown Best Veteran in Specialty Award as proposed during the meeting. Sandra called for a motion that the Club accepts the Dorns’ generous donation. D’Arcy Downs-Vollbracht made the motion and Earl Hunted seconded. The “aye” votes had it unanimously, and the motion carried. • Dick Yoho advised the Board that he received his acknowledgement from AKC that he is now the DDTCA’s official AKC Delegate.

I have joined every group on line I can find to learn more and see the adorable pictures owners post. I have researched groomers and found Captain Jacks Groomers in Toluca Like where they do stripping. The piece I don’t know how to access is the events that might be taking place, I am willing to travel to see Dandies in person. I previously owned a dachshund who lived to a ripe old age of 17! It has been awhile and I realize how much I miss a 4 legged companion. I am a retired school Superintendent, having served districts in California for 25 plus years and prior was a high school principal. To share a bit about me.
