Attention Dandie Owners and Fans! Mark Your Calendars! National Purebred Dog Day will feature the Dandie Dinmont as its “Breed of the Week” on its Facebook page and website beginning April 24th. It will feature information, questions from non Dandie people,pictures, and end with “show us your puppies.” Their site has supported the Dandie a great deal during the past and we should use this opportunity to present our great breed to the world! Looked for reminders and more information on our DDTCA Facebook page and website in the future. This will be open to input from our international friends as well! Strategic Advisory Committee

The following experienced graphics developers have expressed interest in assisting Dandie Dinmont advertisers with the preparation of superior advertising copy for the new Mustard & Pepper . The DDTCA has no involvement in the use of these individuals to assist you with submitting truly fantastic advertisements other than providing their contact information. Fees for their assistance are strictly between you, the advertiser and the selected individual.From time to time as more individuals volunteer for this listing, they will be vetted and added to this list. H is Grace, the Duke of Buccleugh, is shown in this picture holding the proclamation of Honorary Membership to the DDTCA. This honorary was bestowed upon His Grace for all the efforts he has done for the breed. He has hosted at least three large Dandie doings at Bowhill. He and the late Dutchess were very involved the promotion of the breed. At Bowhill there are painting and other art works dedicated to the Dandie and original books written by Sir Walter Scott. Sir Walter Scott and the King of England were his cousins. We are most fortunate to have someone as prominence His Grace to be supportive of our breed. In February 23, 2015, His Grace Duke Richard, the 10th Duke of Buccleuch and the chief of Clan Scott bestowed permission for the Dandie Dinmont Terrier to adopt Sir Walter Scott’s private black and white tartan. This makes the Dandie the only breed of dog permitted to wear an official Clan Tartan
