Over time we will be able to detect trends that will be important to preservation of our breed ’ s good health. We are grateful to all of you who participated! And, we are extremely pleased that so many of our international col- leagues participated. As part of the final report, we will be able to detect differences by country and possibly identify areas where we can learn from one another. SAC ’ s mission is to ensure the long - term viability of the Dandie Dinmont Terrier. We believe this mission is shared by people who love Dandies anywhere in the world. Building an on - going Dandie Health Database is an important contributor to achieving that mission. We hope you will contribute more data when we reopen the survey early in 2023. 

SAC Introduces the DDTCA National Club Polo Shirt! Originally developed for participants in Meet the Breeds, our custom polo shirts are now available to all club members. These black polo shirts have a beautiful embroi- dered Dandie with a tartan ribbon on the front and the phrase ” The Dog that Makes You Smile” on the sleeve. We have a broad inventory of these polo shirts that are sized for everyone and will restock regularly. Polo shirts are available for sale ($45 plus shipping) on the website store www.ddtca.org/ddtca-store/. Visit the website for more details and sizing infor- mation. For those of you able to participate in MTB Events and other Outreach events that promote Dandies, we will provide you with your first polo shirt at no charge. Please work with the Outreach Coordinator, Barbara Baese, to make sure she can submit an order for you to receive a shirt in time for your event. The polo shirts are a cotton/ poly blend, machine washable, with stain release fabric and will make the members look like a true Dandie team.
